Video Ideas

The idea came to me as soon as I heard to song, Ellie goulding Fly.
The first eight seconds of the song would be the screen flashing multiple colours on the beat. The beat in the beginning is so unusual so I think this will look good as well as putting the emphasis on the beat of the music. There will be a silhoutte moving, either dancing ( kind of look like the ipod adverts) Like beyonce COUNTDOWN VIDEO>
Then when she starts to sing a spotlight appears on her face using three point lighting .As the verse develops she will appear to start walking left . I was thinking we could use i-stop motion to add a cartoon effect to the song, as its not to serious but still fun at the same time making it quite surreal almost a dream world. We would film it on green screen. It would be the background moving no the actor so it would be an illusion she is walking. can add an effect in the editing stage to make her also look like a cartoon. 
The lines 'Faces staring right past me' we could have her walking past people on the green screen, i think this could look quite effect if made quite choppy by i-stop-motion.
'feeling happy' i was thinking we could encorporate birds because that is what i associate with happiness as they are cute, and it will also link to the song well in the chorus where she could be flying in the sky with clouds running past her with the birds. she could be a superhero?
'thinking striaght' we could have almost a heart beat line but matching the beat of the music. Like Dizzee rascals does in his video so it isnt just her walking.
'Know every station off by heart.
Never get off just go back to the start of my journey' we could have the actor but her hand to the right (as she is walking left) and the camera zoom right into it and follow right, then speed up like a train going past really quickly. symbolizing the going back to the beginning and the station.

'sky will run out' we could have clouds running straight past her or as if she was flying maybe? again linking to the chorus and keeping to the 'dreamworld' theme but then have her on a back background so the visuals match the lyrics. This could be her returning to earth from her dreamland.

'The ground will pull me back down, back down to thinking straight' This could be her returning to earth from her dreamland transforming out of her amazing costume and into plain colours, then being placed on the floor again like she has been flying. This would require a variety of shots, a long shot so we can see her flying and the background, a mid shot when she is walking possibly close-ups with all the minor details.
'But maybe I should try, maybe I should try.' we could have the word try, in i-stop-motion appear, maybe how they would in a cartoon magazine and wobble, emphasizing how it is repeated.

'Always moving but I still don't know where I'm going.' this is where the background will loose all of its colour and it will just be the actor there to sing the last chorus. The background will fade as she is singing, and appears to be sitting next to a window. She looks out the window and sees the birds and this is where the journey ends.

It could represent a story, as she is walking she is walking through life and everything she sees. Maybe too fast and she just goes with the flow which i think the song is about 'When things are moving so fast you don’t have to take them in'.

She could be wearing either plain white or plain black during the verses, to stand out against the colourd background, but that will change as the video goes along to match the mood of the song. Like the chorus for example where birds are used in her dreamworld she seems free so her costume could go a little mad then to represent this. Maybe wear a superhero costume?
